Permanently removes a storage type from your group. The type must have no storage units or equipment instances using it — clean those up first, then call this endpoint. Returns 409 when instances still reference the type, and 404 when the type does not exist within your group.
Storage types are deleted permanently; they cannot be archived or restored.
